Use your iPad mini 6 in Class 1 Div 2 and ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas
The Xciel XCRiPad mini 6 is a certified non-incendive / intrinsically safe enclosure for the Apple iPad mini 6. Your own device is sealed inside the rugged enclosure, so field crews keep their familiar apps, camera and connectivity while working in Class I Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 classified locations.
Choose your options:
- Device: order the case only (your iPad is NOT included), or with a new iPad supplied and installed by Xciel.
- Installation: Self-install is certified for ATEX Zone 2 only; you install your own iPad (a signed liability waiver is required). Factory install is required for the Class I Division 2 (CSA) rating; you must send your iPad to the Xciel factory for installation.
