CMCP271 Indexable Counterbore Kit with Replaceable Blades

The CMCP271 Series 1" diameter Indexable Counter Bores are used just like the less expensive spot reamer to mill a 1" (2.54 cm) smooth, flat area on a bearing housing for mounting an accelerometer. Their major advantage is replaceable (indexable) titanium nitride cutting inserts. The inserts are triangular with three cutting edges each, and every cutting surface is very durable, giving far more machining life than a standard spot reamer.

Choose the thread size to match your sensors: [-01] 1/4"-28 or [-02] M8. The kit is available without a tap handle, with a standard tap handle, or with a ratcheting tap handle.
