iLearnVibration is an interactive, CD-ROM based training course. It will take you step by step through the principles behind predictive maintenance, through the technologies involved, focusing on vibration analysis.

You will learn vibration analysis tips and techniques, how to take high quality measurements, and you will learn how to best run a predictive maintenance program.

The product is very easy to use. You can just sit back and listen to the narration. 

Most pages will have some form of interaction so that you can get involved - enhancing the learning experience!

To make sure you fully understand the fundamentals of vibration, we have created a number of simulations.

In this example, you can turn the knob to have the fan slow down and speed up, and the other knob controls the size of out-of-balance weight and thus the vibration level.

We have also provided real vibration samples to analyze.  Rather than studying static illustrations of vibration spectra that represent imbalance, bearing faults, etc., we allow you to view the spectra and actually click on it to analyze the data.  You will see the time waveforms and spectra from multiple axes, and in some cases from previous dates (to see the changes).  And you can even listen to the vibration. 

And there are tutorials that teach you about averaging, windowing, aliasing, fundamental signals, and sampling.
 

And to check your progress, just to make sure that you have understood the material just covered, we have interactive quizzes - but don't worry, we won't tell anyone if you don't get the correct answer.  And at the end of it all, you are awarded a certificate.

A wide range of topics are covered to ensure that you understand the fundamentals, have a good grasp of more advanced topics, and most importantly have greater confidence when analyzing spectra and waveforms.
