Now you can lubricate with full control

When you lubricate rolling element bearings, you pump in the specified quantity of grease, but how do you know that the grease actually reaches the bearing? LUBECHECKER can tell you. The instrument works according to the SPM method. It monitors the shock pulses from the bearing and indicates the effect of the fresh lubricant on the oil film inside the bearing. Instead of assuming your bearings are correctly lubricated, you can immediately watch the result

Simple to Operate

LUBECHECKER is easily fitted to your grease gun with a magnet or strap. Connect the transducer to the measuring point on the bearing housing with the  magnetic mounting base. Press the start button. The instrument self-zeroes. The bar-graph display is full scale, showing that the instrument is ready for use.

Start to pump your grease gun. The bar-grah display shortens when the grease penetrates to the load zone of the bearing. Now you can pump in the specified quantity of grease and be sure that it reaches the bearing. The bar-graph display goes out and the instrument is automatically shut off when you disconnect the transducer.

LUBECHECKER means better maintenance

The bar-graph display does not change after self-zeroing if the lubricant does not reach the bearing's load zone. This can be due to a blocked grease nipple, an empty grease gun or a defective grease pipe.

Note that LUBECHECKER is exclusively used to check the quality of your lubrication work during the process. It registers the resulting change in the oil film, but does not measure bearing damage or absolute oil film thickness.
